Changing App data

Apps can be configured in three ways :


This means that the data you are setting on the tag – for example a date – can never be changed. It’s a fixed data item.

Additionally, all data fields that have a * are always fixed after App selection.


This means that certain data on the App can be modified. In many cases, the title of the App will be fixed but you can update other parts of the data after a scan. For example, you might want to reset a date or time after a scan. This would be ‘Flex’ data.


If you have set up a control system for your tags – either via a control tag or a login – then certain data on an App can be modified only by the controller. (Note that this system is currently in beta testing)
